The RD550 can locate non-metallic pipes at depths of up to 2 meters (6.5 feet) below the surface. The RD550 kit consists of a handheld receiver and a transmitter.When the system is mounted on a water pipe or hydrant, water pressure opens and closes the valve approximately 60 times a minute.
